What it costs to apply
The 31st program costs almost three times the 30th.
| Programs in one specialty | ERAS fee |
|---|---|
| Your first 30 | $11 each |
| Every one after that | $30 each |
| A 112-program Internal Medicine list | $2,790 |
| A typical list after The MatchLens: 60 programsthe ruled-out half removed before ERAS charges for it | $1,230 $1,560 saved |
AAMC, ERAS 2027 participation fees, read 14 August 2026. Per specialty. Every program we remove above your 30th is $30 you can spend on one that will read you instead.
What we cover
Seven specialties. Every program read page by page.
A specialty appears here only when we can state its coverage in the open. Each fact carries the program's own sentence, its link and the date we read it. Guides stay per specialty; nothing is mixed.
Listed is the ACGME program count. Read means we opened the program's own pages and quoted what it publishes about international graduates. How we read a program
Where IMGs matched in 2026
Applicants come from everywhere. The seats are here.
In 2026, 3,682 non-US citizen IMGs matched into Internal Medicine. Programs filled 12,508 positions in total, so non-US IMGs took about 3 in every 10. That is 54 fewer than in 2025. Scroll, and the globe lands on the map. Tap or hover any state for its numbers.
Where do 3,682 people land?
Each arc is a journey applicants make every year, from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, the Philippines and beyond, into US Internal Medicine programs.
Keep scrolling. The globe settles on the United States, and every state carries its 2026 numbers.

Free, and live now
The tracker: your list, and what each program actually published.
Most people build their program list in a spreadsheet, then spend October re-reading the same twelve websites because they cannot remember which one said what. This is that spreadsheet, with the reading already done and every answer carrying the sentence it came from.
Add your programs. Search by name, city or state, or paste your ACGME codes.
See what each one published. Visa, Step scores, years since graduation, US experience. Their words, their link, the date we read it. If they published nothing, it says not published.
Track the season. Applied, invited, interviewed, ranked. Interview dates and your own notes.
In March, tell us how it went. Three questions. That is why it is free.

The Free VS The check
Your list
One place for every program you apply to, from August to Match Day.
- What you sent, and when
- Interview invitations, in your zone and theirs
- Private notes after each interview
- Six statuses. No scores, no advice
Where not to bother, and where to look instead
We check your list against what programs publish, then show you the ones you never found.
- Every program on your list, checked against its published requirements
- Programs you missed, ordered by how many non-US graduates they train now
- A written email for each program that publishes nothing
- Every fact with its sentence, its link, and its date
A sample
This is what the check hands you.
Three rows from a checked list, for someone who needs a J-1, graduated in 2019 and has one failed attempt. The programs are invented. The shape, the quote, the link and the date are exactly what you get, and which real hospital sits on which row is the part you are paying for.

Program says
Applicants must have graduated from medical school within the past five years.
Read 14 Aug 2026 · the program’s own applicant page
IMG share is the share of residents who trained outside the US. It counts US citizens who studied abroad, so it is not a measure of visa friendliness: of the 293 programs whose roster is more than half international graduates, 35 publish that they sponsor no visa. Your report carries the date every fact was read this cycle.

FAQ
Do you tell me where to apply?
We tell you which programs have published something that rules you out, and we show you their words. Then we show you programs that can consider you and that you had not found. What you do with that is yours.
Will you predict my chances?
Not yet. We hold no outcome data today, so any percentage would be invented. As outcome data accumulates, predictions will become available in a future version.
My card does not work for international payments.
Then we do it by email or WhatsApp and grant your access by hand. Cards from several countries our users live in get declined, and that is not a reason to lose the people who need this most.
Which states have you verified?
All of them. We have read 1,170 of the 2,252 programs on the seven lists we index, page by page. Internal Medicine is the deepest at 649 of 702; the coverage table above states the six others. New York, California, Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania are the largest by programs read, and they are where most non-US citizen IMGs matched last year. The page tells you which programs are still unread before you pay, not after.
Are you connected to NRMP, AAMC, ERAS or ECFMG?
No. We are independent of all of them and of every residency program. We quote public pages and we say when we read them, including AAMC's own 2027 ERAS fee table.
Who is behind this
Built by one person who got tired of the guessing.
The MatchLens is built by Joseph, after watching friends spend thousands of dollars applying to programs whose own pages said they could not consider them. There is no advisory upsell and no course to sell you. The product is the receipts: what programs publish, quoted, linked and dated. Every fact on this site can be checked against its source, including the ones about us.
Write to joseph@thematchlens.com. A person answers, usually the same day.
